'Clearance Day' at the Riverdale Park Farmers Market

Eat, drink, and be merry: it's the final day of this year's off-season Riverdale Park Farmers Market.

On Thursday, April 5, the full-fledged (and outdoor) market will make its triumphant return with an expanded lineup, including ECO City Farms, The Verandah, Reuben's Crepes, Mystic Water Soap, and Zeke's Coffee.

In the meantime, there's still plenty to choose from at this Thursday's "clearance" market, which runs from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Town Center building:

• Apples and apple products (most of which are on sale)
• Fresh eggs from free range hens ($3.50/dozen)
• Bread and baked goods from Stone Hearth Bakery (Frederick, MD)
• Pastured Berkshire pork bacon, grass fed beef, and other meats from Groff's Content Farm (Rocky Ridge, MD)
• Raw milk cheeses from P.A. Bowen Farmstead (Brandywine, MD)
• Popcorn grown at Glen Hollow Farm (Lineboro, MD)
• Fresh pecans from Musachio Produce (Ridgely, MD)
• Flowers only from the following greens: spinach, arugula, collard greens, turnips, cilantro, and tatsoi.
