3 University Park Residents Registered for Boston Marathon
Eleanor Kerr, 53, Elizabeth Ratliff, 35, and Jen Staats, 35, were signed up to run Monday's race.
Three local women were among the more than 20,000 people registered to run today's Boston Marathon, where at least two people were killed and more than 20 injured when explosive devices detonated near the finish line.
Eleanor Kerr, 53, of University Park, had an official finish time of 3:28:58. Elizabeth Ratliff, 35, also of University Park, had an official finish time of 3:49:31. There were no start or finish times recorded for University Park resident Jen Staats, 35, indicating she may not have competed in the race.
Anyone with friends and family who were running in or attending the Boston Marathon can check this Red Cross website to see if loved ones have registered as 'safe and well.'
