Visions for Vacancies: Riverdale Park Town Center, Part 2

What would you like to see fill the vacant spaces in the Town Center?

When it comes to property in the Riverdale Park Town Center, Douglas Development is not the only game in town.

The Douglas space takes up 18,839 sqft. of prime real estate at the corner of Queensbury and Rhode Island, but anyone who’s been to the farmers market on Thursdays has no doubt spied the charming grey and white building at the at the end of the Town Center’s row of storefronts.

Owned by University Park Resident Mike Arnold since 2007, some space in the building is already occupied by Emily’s Doll Shop and by Arnold’s architecture firm.  However, according to Arnold there are still 1,000 square feet of space unoccupied.

Unlike the space in the Douglas building, space in Arnold’s building is finished and ready to occupy immediately, at rates lower than on Route 1, says Arnold.

The space is zoned mixed-use, so it could be retail or office space.
