Marathon Deli Wins Readers' Choice for Best Fries
The College Park eatery narrowly edged out Fishnet and Five Guys for the title.
With in this week's Readers' Choice poll, in College Park takes the title for best French fries in the area.
Arguably better known for its authentic gyros, the cozy family-owned restaurant serves up crowd-favorite fries alongside souvlaki, loukaniko, turnovers, and other Greek specialties.
"Marathon Deli, hands down," commenter Linda Ivy wrote of the restaurant. "Been going there since the 80s. Love the gyros and fries."

Marathon Deli narrowly edged out fellow College Park establishment in the voting, 10 votes to 9. Greenbelt's Five Guys location came in third with 8 votes, followed closely by Hyattsville's with 7. Riverdale Park's and both notched 3.
