Eat At Chipotle, Help An Urban Farm
Help ECO City Farm raise some funds, Monday night at Chipotle.
Each week, Edmonston-based sells their produce at the Riverdale Park Farmers Market.
The urban farm, which has only been fully functional since last summer, hosts classes through Prince George's Community College and depends on volunteers and grants to maintain their site and grow.
So ECO City Farm is teaming up with the new Chipotle restaurant in Hyattsville's Arts District to raise some money to help them continue their progress. Patrons who eat dinner there from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday night will give 50 percent of the proceeds from their meal to the farm.
