Business Association Moves Its Election to November

Nominations needed for elections.

The Riverdale Park Business Association moved back its elections until November at its monthly meeting Wednesday.

President Audrey Bragg was supposed to be replaced in September by a new president but no members wanted to run.

The business association represents businesses in town between Route 1 and Kenilworth Avenue. Around 30 businesses are officially members and pay the yearly fee of $35. Other area businesses will participate in the meetings sometimes.

They were the original founders of the town's Festival of Lights and Riverdale Park Day, Bragg said.

Wednesday, however, attendance was low at the monthly meeting and therefore, the members who attended voted to move elections to November.
