Blades Orchard Debuts With Peaches, Jams at the Farmers Market

The newest vendor arrived at the market Thursday with more fruit.

Following a career in the liquor industry, Stephen Blades decided to open an orchard with his family in Federalsburg, MD.

Now, after their fourth season, Blades has brought his peaches to the farmers market, along with homemade jams.

Blades Orchard made their first appearance at the Thursday. The 63-acre orchard grows more than 20 acres of peaches, 10 acres of apples and lots of small berries.
