Best Of: Breakfast Spots

Who has the best breakfast in or around Riverdale Park and University Park?

Our inaugural "Best of" Patch contest kicks off with a hunt for the top place to start your day in or around Riverdale Park-University Park.

Does breakfast to you mean gulping down a cup of Joe and rushing out the door? Maybe you're someone who likes to savor that first meal and sip your coffee slowly? Or are low cost and good service your top concerns?

Here are your choices—if we've missed a good one, let us know in the comments below:

The poll will stay open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties between breakfast spots will be broken by whichever business gets the most positive comments below or in the reviews on their directory listings linked above. (If your business is listed here, learn how to claim your listing for free on Riverdale Park-University Park Patch by .)

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places and in comments on this article. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

We will announce the winner at noon on Friday. So tell us which is your favorite place for breakfast. And don't forget to tell us why in the comments below.

I love the IHop, but it's really tiny and crowded inside. Busboys & Poets over in Hyattsville also has a decent brunch on the weekends and holidays.

Professional Coffee Shop on Route One. Amazing home fries and delicious breakfasts served by a friendly Korean family. What a wonderful way to start the day!
