Samples, Music, Drinks on Tap for Taste Event at Six Flags

Taste Prince George's will be held at the theme park on Sept. 7.

Prince George's County's restaurateurs want residents to come to Six Flags America next month and, instead of going on the rides, take their taste buds for a ride.

The park hosts Taste Prince George's on Saturday, Sept. 7 from noon to 7 p.m.

The event will include food and drink from establishments including KitchenCray, Buffalo Wild Wings, Everlasting Life and Port of Leonardtown Winery. Taste tickets will be available for purchase at the event.

Chefs at the Taste event include Donnell Long (OTI Entertainment), James Robinson (Washington Marriott International) and Sean Robinson (Hyatt) and chocolatier Mary O'Malley (KitchenCray).

Area artists including the band Bonnie Rash, Black Alley, Future Band, jazz pianist Marcus Johnson and local DJs will also perform at the event.

Tickets to the park for Taste attendees are $25, and parking is included. Tickets, along with pre-sold taste tickets, are available on Six Flags America's website. Anyone who enters the park during the Taste event will have access to it, according to the event's website.
