EVENT: Riversdale Park: From Railroad Roots to an Historic Gem

Historical society takes a look at the history of Riverdale Park.

The Prince George's Historical Society will present a historical lecture on Riversdale Park, now known as Riverdale Park, Wednesday evening in Glenn Dale, as the second installment in their lecture series.

Jane Dodd, lecture coordinator for the society, said as an instructor at the community college she had a chance to see how a lecture series like this would interest people.

"It was a successful series there, so I wanted to bring it here," Dodd said.
