Rubens art discussion at Riversdale

 Art historian Dr. Aneta Georgievska-Shine will discuss the works of master painter Peter Paul Rubens, and his importance to the history of Riversdale, in "Rubens: Life Into Art".  Rosalie Stier Calvert, known as the "Mistress of Riversdale" was a descendant of Rubens, and some of his great works were shown there during her time.

A reception with Dr. Shine will follow the discussion, and she will be available to sign her book, "Rubens and the Archaeology of Myth".
