· When: July 12 and 13 at 8 p.m.; July 14 at 2 p.m.
· Description Marjorie Taub is your stereotypical Upper West Side society wife. Married to a successful doctor, her life is a non-stop whirl within the arts world: meeting artists at the Whitney, high profile openings at the Met, and performances at BAM. Marjorie's seen and done it all, but a mid-life crisis is just waiting to happen.

Bowie Writer Book Signing in Greenbelt
· Where: Books-A-Million, 6118 Greenbelt Road, Greenbelt
· When: Saturday, July 13, 2 p.m.
· Description: Galaxy Press announces the official trade release of L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future Vol. 29 as well as an upcoming presentation and book signing by Writers of the Future contest winner and author, Eric Cline of Bowie, whose winning story, “Gonna Reach Out and Grab Ya,” is published in the anthology.

· When: Montpelier Mansion Grounds
· Description: Music lovers are invited to enjoy a free concert on the lawn @ Montiplier Mansion.

· Where: Holy Trinity Episcopal Church
· When: Saturday, July 13, 11 a.m.
· Description: Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is selling BBQ Featuring KBQ
Real BBQ to benefit renovations of the historic rectory.
BBQ sales will be from 11 am-4 pm July 4 and every Saturday in July, (6, 13, 20, 27) in the Parish Hall.

· When: Saturday, July 13, 1 p.m.
· Description: Bike lovers are invited to join Maryland State Parks Park Quest 2013 Quest Star Sponsors REI and Diamondback Bikes at REI College Park for a free class on bicycling basics, free test-rides on Diamondback bikes and a chance to win a bike (no purchase required).

Apollo 'Moon Landing' model rocket contest
· Where: Sunday, July 14, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
· When: Goddard Visitor Center ICESat Road Greenbelt
· Description: A model rocket contest will be held to celebrate the 44th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.
Kids and adults will attempt to land their model rocket within a 'moon' drawn on the ground. Trophies and model rocket kit prizes sponsored by the Maryland Space Business Roundtable will be awarded to the top youth and adult finishers. Demonstration flights will take place of scale models of NASA rockets including the Saturn V-Apollo rocket that took astronauts to the moon in 1969.
On-site registration is required on contest day. You must bring your own model rocket, motors and recovery wadding, or purchase these supplies at the nearby Goddard Gift Shop. A station will be made available for contest flight preparation and rocket repairs, etc.

· Description: Free family Summer Concert by Southside Baptist from Savannah, GA & Gospel Message
· Cost: Free
· Where: Riversdale House Museum, 4811 Riverdale Rd. Riverdale Park
· When: Sunday, July 14, 1 p.m.
· Description: Caroline, the oldest child in the Calvert household, was
born on July 15. Kids and history lovers are invited to help celebrate her
birthday. Participants will decorate period cupcakes, enjoy games and refreshments, and make a bonnet for your 18” doll – just like
the one Caroline received as a gift from her cousin.
· Cost: Residents of Prince Georges & Montgomery Counties:
$5/child, $3/adult; Non-Residents: $6/child, $4/adult
