Related items—including the Cafritz transportation management plan, the transportation demand management district, and planned road connections to the site—are also likely to be discussed, according to Ward 1 Councilman Jonathan Ebbeler.
Under the Cafritz plan, some 900 units of housing, a 35,000-square-foot Whole Foods, a 120-room hotel, and additional office and retail space would be built on a 36-acre parcel at the north end of Riverdale Park. The project won a key zoning approval in July from the Prince George's County District Council.
