With all the cuts to local public schools, parents and community members can still help support the schools financially by registering your store cards for your neighborhood school.
Both Target and Giant have programs where customers can sign up to support a local school.
Giant has codes for each school found on their website. In Riverdale, the following schools are registered:
In University Park, the following schools are registered:
DeMatha High School is also on the list as well as a number of other private schools in D.C. metro region.
Target also similarly has a website for customers to register their REDcards for a number of schools listed on their website including Wirt Middle, Beacon Heights Elementary and Parkdale High School.
