Riverdale Park Interviewing Police Chief Candidates
Candidates for the head job at the police department are currently being interviewed.
It's been five months since former Riverdale Park Police Chief Teresa Chambers was reinstated to her post at the U.S. Park Police, and Mayor Vernon Archer said he is currently interviewing candidates to fill the vacancy.
Capt. Patrick Timmons has been acting chief since Chambers left, but Riverdale Park is hoping to hire someone officially for the position by August.
