Pr. George's Police Officer of the Month: Justice Halsey

Police Officer Justice Halsey is January's Officer of the Month for District IV.

Police Officer Justice Halsey was chosen in January as Prince George's police Officer of the Month for police District IV.

Stay tuned to Patch for features on all of January's Prince George's officers of the month.

Here's what the Prince George's Police Department said about Halsey:

Police Officer Justice Halsey was called to the 5400 block of Livingston Terrace in Oxon Hill on Dec. 25 for the report of an apartment burglary. When he arrived, Halsey spotted several suspects a few apartment buildings away.

Halsey identified stolen property from the victim and arrested three suspects, and a fourth was caught in a stairwell behind the victim’s apartment. It turned out that the suspects were wanted in connection with other burglaries as well.

Feel free to share your comments below about Justice Halsey being selected as an officer of the month.
