UPDATE: Man Involved with Sunday's Stabbing at Rinaldi Was Arrested
Riverdale Park Police reported to the scene of the cutting early Sunday morning.
Update, Feb. 28 1:40 p.m.: Riverdale Park Police have identified the man arrested involved the stabbing at Rinaldi Lanes off Kenilworth Avenue early Sunday morning.
Lamont Lindsey, 20, of Washington D.C., was arrested and charged with first degree assault.
Police were called to the bowling alley around 3:30 a.m. after a fight was reported. Lt. Robert Turner, with Riverdale Park Police, said a fight from inside the building spilled out into the parking lot after the bowling alley closed at 3 a.m.
The 32-year-old male victim was stabbed in his left shoulder, Turner said. He was then transported to a local hospital. The police are not releasing the victim’s name at this time and could not update the status of the victim, but said the injury wasn’t fatal.
Original Post, Feb, 27, 8:43 a.m.: A person was injured during a cutting early Sunday morning outside of Rinaldi Lanes in Riverdale Park, police said.
Riverdale Park Police reported to the scene at 6322 Kenilworth Ave. around 3:40 a.m., where they found the victim and transported them to the hospital. At this time, Patch cannot confirm whether the victim was male or female or if the victim was affiliated with the bowling alley.
However, according to police, an arrest has been made.
