Update, Dec. 6 at 12:27 p.m.: Prince George's County Police have identified the man found dead in a car Sunday morning in Wildercroft.

Jamie James Allan, 28, was found dead in an idling car on Auburn Avenue and 1st Street around 2:58 a.m.

Allan, of the 3400 block of Ephron Circle in Landover Hills, suffered a gunshot wound.

Police are looking for suspects and a motive in this case.

Original Post, Dec. 5 at 9 a.m.: Prince George's County Police are investigating an early Sunday morning homicide in the Wildercroft neighborhood east of Riverdale Park.

At around 2:58 a.m., two patrol officers found a vehicle idling with the door open at the intersection of Auburn Avenue and 1st Street.

When the officers approached the vehicle, they found a man inside with gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Although police have wrapped up the investigation on the scene, they are still looking for a suspect and a motive.
