First Fridays at Busboys and Poets

Come by to see this month's artists: Chanel Compton,Charles A. Sessoms, J.J. McCracken, Bensonn Anspach & Brooke Kidd, Friday, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served. FREE

Montpelier Arts Center Exhibit:

See collages and paintings by Montpelier studio artist Jacqueline Lee, as well as work by photographic artists Nate Larson, Marni Shindelman, and Geoff Delanoy.  Gallery Hours: 10 to 5 pm, daily through November 27th. FREE

Singin' in the Rain at Old Greenbelt Theatre

The Greenbelt Theatre’s Classic Film Series continues this Saturday at noon with a showing of Singin’ in the Rain [1952] starring Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds. $5/ticket

Day of the Dead Celebration at Joe's Movement Emporium

Create artwork from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday at Joe's Movement Emporium, then proceed to nearby gazebo with music and festivities, from 6 to 7 p.m., in celebration of Day of the Dead. FREE

Seasonal Selections at Riversdale House Museum

Drop by to watch Guild members demonstrate foodways in the dependency using produce from the garden and orchard on Sunday at noon at the Riversdale House Museum. FREE
