36th Annual Sugarloaf Crafts Festival

Check out this premier crafts festival at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, showcasing 400 acclaimed artisans and including live demonstrations, gourmet food and family entertainment, from Friday at 10 a.m. through Sunday  at 5 p.m.


Staged Reading - Two Noble Kinsmen

Based on Chaucer's “The Knight’s Tale,” company members of The Shakespeare Factory Players will present this reading, then participate in a talk back with the audience at the Old Parish House, Friday at 7:30 p.m. FREE


Cheverly 5th Annual Thanksgiving Market

Shop for your holiday table with local wines, produce, artisanal breads, crafts and more at the annual Cheverly market - you can even order your own Maryland-grown Christmas tree! Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

Silk Road Dance Festival & Concert

Explore Central Asian culture at Joe's Movement Emporium on Saturday, from 9 to 5 p.m. featuring a bazaar, tea house, fashion show and workshops, culminating in a concert at 8 p.m.  $20/general admission


Seasonal Selections at Riversdale

Drop by to watch Guild members demonstrate foodways in the dependency using produce from the garden and orchard on Sunday at noon at the Riversdale House Museum. FREE!
