In the spirit of back-to-school, University Park Police will talk about bullying, school safety and gangs as its final topics for the summer crime series.

Police Chief Michael Wynnyk said parents should attend this discussion with their children and or teens, or even send teenage children on their own if they are unable to attend.

Cpl. Mike Rudinski, of Hyattsville City Police, will be the guest speaker. Rudinski has spoken in the past on this topic in his post as the school resource officer at Northwestern High School and as a "gang culture" expert.

Pizza will be provided for guests.

The discussion will start at 6:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room of University Park Elementary School.
