Prince George's County police and fire departments have been taken to Twitter to rib each other over ribs.
You see, on Saturday, Oct. 6, members from the two county public safety agencies will be gathering for a grill-off to determine which department has a better barbecue-smith. Dubbed the "Guns and Hoses BBQ Challenge", the event takes place as part of Taste of the Boulevard at 900 Capital Centre Boulevard in Largo.
Since the event was announced, the two departments have been talking smack on Twitter (see above).
With a minimum $2 donation, you can sample the BBQ and cast a vote to determine if the police or the fire department will be this year's BBQ royalty.
Proceeds from the event wil go towards HEROES, Inc. and the Prince George's County Police Explorer program.
The Guns and Hoses BBQ Challenge runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
