Bountiful Blessings, a Riverdale Fixture, Adding 18th Location

The organization offers non-food necessities to those unable to afford them.

Bountiful Blessings, a nonprofit organization that serves the Riverdale community through St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, is expanding into West York, PA, the York Daily Record reports.

The program offers non-food items like toothbrushes, toilet paper, shampoo, and laundry detergent to those unable to afford them.

Bountiful Blessings got its start in 2001 in Lemoyne, PA and has since expanded across Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia. St. Stephen's United Church of Christ in West York marks the 18th site for the organization.

"We feel that people should come to the church in times of trouble and need, not relying on the government," founder Terry Orendi told the Daily Record.
