I headed over there for brunch Sunday after hearing some great reviews about their food. I wasn't disappointed.
The brunch was very Spanish-influenced, although there are some traditional American plates on the menu.
I ordered the Jamon Serrano Eggs Benedict with home fries for $11, and it was a plate of perfectly-cooked poached eggs, with fresh, creamy hollandaise sauce over sliced of Spanish ham and an English muffin. The best part of meal however, was the bacon bloody Mary with Spanish olives.
Bar Pilar offers dinner as well with classics like House Made Country Ham with Roasted Onions, Currant Jam or Lamb, pork, and veal meatballs with tomato basil sauce, pecorino.
